Josh Scouten - Coach Scouten grew up in central NY and played lacrosse, soccer, and basketball at Corning East High School. He was named an all-region player as a senior defensive midfielder. He played college lacrosse at Division III Messiah College in Pennsylvania. He was named 2nd Team All-Conference in 2002 and 1st Team All-Conference in 2003, 2004, and 2005 on defense. The team advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2004. Scouten was named Honorable Mention All-American in 2005 and also played in the North-South Senior All-Star Game. He has been the head coach at University School of Nashville since 2007 and named Coach of the Year in 2008.
Will Jenner - Coach Jenner grew up in Cincinnati, OH playing at Sycamore High School. He was a four-year starter at the University of Tennessee and led the team to conference titles in 1999-2000. He has over 12 years head coaching experience at Woodland, Vanderbilt, Ensworth (back to back state championship appearances), Ravenwood, and currently coaches varsity at MBA. He was coach of the elite travel team 'Team TN' and is now coaching the elite travel 'No-Excuse Nashville' team in the summer. Coach Jenner runs the Music City lacrosse team and is President of the Tennessee Scholastic Lacrosse Association. He was named Man of the Year in 2013 by the TSLA.
Matt Garvey - Coach Garvey is in his first year as the head varsity coach at Montgomery Bell Academy. Before coming to Montgomery Bell, Coach Garvey was the head coach at Zionsville (IN) Community High School where he compiled a 37-15 record, three consecutive Final Four appearances, and two Hoosier Crossroads Lacrosse Conference championships. He has also coached at Dublin Scioto (OH) High School as an assistant. Coach Garvey graduated from Zionsville (IN) Community High School, winning a state championship in his senior year, then went on to play at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio.

Gary Mryncza - Coach Mryncza grew up in Baltimore, MD and played lacrosse at Archbishop Curley High School. He was a three-sport athlete, lettering eleven times and garnering two state wrestling championships in his scholastic career. He played Division I college lacrosse at the Virginia Military Institute where he was a two-way midfielder. In 1995, he ranked 2nd nationally in groundballs/game (a school-record 123 in 14 games) and 9th in faceoff percentage, while also collecting 26 points. He was a member of the All-Southern Conference Academic Team. Following college, Coach Mryncza has been involved with lacrosse for almost 20 years, coaching youth outdoor and indoor teams, officiating, and playing club lacrosse in Maryland, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
Chris Smith - Coach Smith has been coaching lacrosse in Middle Tennessee since 2000. He spent a year with the Brentwood Lacrosse Club before joining the Montgomery Bell Academy Staff in 2001. Smith's focus has been on the team's defense. He was a part of MBA's 2006 State Championship staff, and helped the Big Red to appearances in the state title game five other times. Smith was selected Tennessee Scholastic Lacrosse Association Assistant Coach of the Year in 2007 and 2013. In addition to his coaching duties, Smith has run the MBA spring, summer, and fall lacrosse leagues since 2006.
Paul Raccio - Coach Raccio grew up playing lacrosse on the Connecticut shoreline in Branford, CT as a face-off specialist. He had a top 10 face off percentage in the state during his junior year and was 5th during his senior year of HS. He played one year of college lacrosse at Western Connecticut. He has been coaching lacrosse in TN for the past 6 years, 1 with Cookeville and the past 5 at Pope John Paul II. He also serves as the head coach of the Hendersonville Youth Lacrosse Program.
Jon Speers - Coach Speers grew up in Syracuse, NY playing football, basketball, and lacrosse at Jamesville-DeWitt High School. Coach Speers graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where he was a member of four straight ACC Championship lacrosse teams as well as the 1991 National Championship team. Coach Speers has been coaching lacrosse for the past 15 years and has started several introductory programs in Nashville. He has also coached boys lacrosse previously at Brentwood High School, MBA, Vanderbilt, Ensworth, and Ravenwood.
Tom Pettit - Coach Pettit grew up in Philadelphia, PA playing soccer, basketball and lacrosse at Lower Merion High School. He graduated from West Chester University in PA where he was a three-year starter and a two-year captain in lacrosse. Coach Pettit helped his team to two ECAC championships in 2001 and 2003. He has coached at Ensworth and currently coaches boys lacrosse at Woodland Middle School.
